Celebrated Ghanaian dancehall artist, Stonebwoy Burniton, has confidently expressed that he’s currently the top dog in the Ghanaian dancehall scene in an interview on Jamaican television. Stonebwoy Burniton’s steady ascent to the topmost echelons of Ghanaian dancehall music has been commended by many artists both local and international, and the artist isn’t too shy to tell the world exactly where he stands as far as dancehall artsts in Ghana.

Speaking in an interview on Onstage TV, a popular Jamaican entertainment show, Stonebwoy responded to a question by the shows asking him where he thinks he is in the grand scheme of Ghanaian music
Um, Ghanaian music is at a point, especially for me, I’m at a height that everybody’s looking up to, everybody’s looking up to from my predecessors, and even my own fellow young artists.”
“Raggae, dancehall, afrobeats, at this point now everybody is gravitating to that energy right now, and that’s where I am. I put in a lot of work ’cause I know that people are watching. A lot of people get me inspired
Over the past couple of years Stonebwoy has had multiple hit songs, and has also received numerous awards for his creative works, something that hasn’t gone unnoticed by the artists himself regardless of his humble demeanor.
In response to the show host asking him if he believes he’s in the top tier of Ghanaian artist, the artist responded with complete confidence, “Definitely“, he says.
